Makuti Cottage - Lake Naivasha

This cozy cottage features two inviting bedrooms (one ensuite), each designed with total luxury in mind. There is a comfortable living room with a dining space, a functional kitchen, a guest bathroom, and stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha from the balcony. A private outdoor dining area and barbecue grill accompany the cottage, and an evening fire in the fireplace is part of our service.

Four guests can be comfortably accommodated with two people sharing each bedroom. There is a sofa bed option for an additional fifth adult and a crib available for toddlers. Beds have a “hotel feature” allowing them to be zipped together for your choice of a king-sized bed or two separate singles per room. Inquire about our food service options, which range from barbecue packages to full-service, farm-to-table fine dining.

Makuti Cottage is set within the serene confines of a 5-acre Green Park estate*, which it shares with our sister properties Leleshwa House and Buffalo Lodge. Overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Naivasha, Leleshwa Retreat offers a restorative escape, ideal for those seeking quiet and solace. Get captivated by daytime lake views, while unwinding in our solar-heated pool and hot tub. Stroll through Green Park and encounter wildlife including zebra, waterbuck and impala. Leleshwa is a sanctuary designed for peaceful reflection and intimate moments with family, friends, or colleagues.

* There is currently construction underway within our estate. While Leleshwa House is unaffected, there may be supervised workers in some of the outdoor spaces. The swimming pool and hot-tub are closed, though a shared pool at the nearby Great Rift Valley Lodge is available as an interim replacement. Our pool is schedule to reopen August 1, 2024.
